With advantages in position and traffic, Xiawan Forest Park is located in the northeast of Guangxi, situated at the junction of Guangxi and Hunan provinces, seated in Liujia Town in the southwest of Fuchuan County, 77km away from Hezhou City and 11km away from the county town.

Xiawan Forest Park covers a total area of 678.41 hm² including Xiayuandong of Xiawan Village Committee, Maodaoyuan Village and Xinzhai Village of Yangxin Village Committee, of which the forest coverage rate is as high as 83.61%. As a mountainous topographical park, most of the mountains in it are above 300 meters above sea level, and the height difference is about 300 to 600 meters.
